Job Description
Regional Finance Manager Fresh People are currently recruiting for a CIMA / ACCA / ACA Qualified Accountant for a Regional Finance Manager role home based reporting into FC working closely with the Senior Management Team to provide business partnering, commercial analysis and decision support to a Food Service Fresh Produce business. Maximising business performance and identifying any risks and opportunities supported by a centralised management accounts team . The locations in scope are Bristol, Cardiff, Bodmin and Devon. Travel to all locations is a key part of the role with Bristol and Cardiff requiring weekly on-site partnering, Bodmin and Devon monthly The Person
• Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience gained within industry
• Experience of working in a fast paced, commercially driven environment
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Experience of working in a product-led industry
• Leading process improvements and managing change
• Experience gained within the Fresh Produce , FMCG or Logistics Industries
• Multi-site experience preferred
• System development & implementation skills Key Responsibilities
• Support, challenge, and provide insight to the Managers of each site
• Weekly and monthly P&L reporting
• Monthly and quarterly forecasts
• Annual budgets
• Variance analysis
• KPI’s
• Benchmarking
• Ad-hoc analysis to drive business performance
• Provide commercial support and performance variances , identifying risks and opportunities to enable delivery of their targets
• Develop, rigorously challenge, the budget/forecast assumptions and KPIs on an on-going basis, and report this to the Branch Managers and Divisional Team
• Produce Monthly reporting pack and participate in the Monthly Review Meeting
• Produce Monthly Management Accounts and all central reporting working in collaboration with the central finance team
• Production and evaluation of business cases including capital expenditure proposals
• Ensure that strong financial controls are in place across all branches
• Support the Financial Controller as required through analysis and project activity If you have the relevant industry experience and qualifications and are keen to work from home managing multiple sites then reach out today
