This role involves working on residential projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship while adhering to safety standards.
Duties
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and dimensions.
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to perform carpentry tasks such as framing, siding installation, and cabinet installation.
Measure, cut, and shape materials accurately to ensure proper fit and alignment.
Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square according to project specifications.
Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects efficiently.
Conduct construction estimating to assess project costs and timelines.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, including blueprint reading and construction estimating.
Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and woodworking machinery safely and effectively.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.

Contract length: 3 months
Pay: $42.31-$44.8+ per hour
Expected hours: 60 per week
