Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, receiving, labeling, and analyzing samples or substances using appropriate testing equipment. The role involves executing laboratory tests according to standard procedures, recording observations accurately, and ensuring that all safety protocols are strictly followed. Responsibilities:
• Collect, receive, label, and analyze samples or substances using appropriate testing equipment at Criticare Hospital.
• Design and execute laboratory tests according to standard testing procedures.
• Accurately record all experimental data and test results in the specified format (written and/or electronic).
• Organize and store chemical substances, fluids, and compressed gases following safety instructions.
• Operate electrical and non-electrical laboratory equipment efficiently and safely.
• Record observations during testing and interpret findings correctly.
• Maintain and monitor laboratory supplies and reorder as necessary.
• Ensure all tests and procedures comply with hospital protocols and quality standards.
• Work closely with other medical staff to ensure accurate and timely lab results.
• Strictly follow all health and safety regulations, especially when handling potentially dangerous substances.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Valid laboratory technician license is required for employment at Criticare Hospital.
• Proven experience working as a lab technician, particularly in a hospital setting.
• Competency in operating both electrical and non-electrical laboratory equipment.
• Comfortable handling potentially dangerous substances such as flammable liquids and biohazards.
• Ability to record data accurately and follow detailed instructions.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret laboratory results.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate results clearly.
