Recreation Programmer - Cultural Services

The City of Delta is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Cultural Services Programmer to assist with the planning and implementation of arts and cultural programs within the Cultural Services division. The work involves supervising program staff; establishing and maintaining liaison with a variety of internal and external contacts; promoting and publicizing interest and participation in program activities; researching, developing, implementing and purchasing for/of trending arts programming; and assisting in the monitoring of program budgets.
Staff are expected to exercise some independence of judgement and action within the limits of established policies, procedures, and guidelines. This is an excellent opportunity those pursuing a career in arts administration. We encourage applications from those with lived experience or from equity seeking groups.
