Receptionist – Part-time
The Arbutus Club has been a landmark in Vancouver since 1964. Today, we are a modern recreation complex with first class food and beverage services. Our vast range of facilities and programs, coupled with unparalleled service, have earned us a reputation as one of Canada’s finest premier Private Clubs.
We are looking for a Part-time Receptionist with availability Tuesdays (from 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm) and Saturdays (from 5:00 pm - 9:30 pm) or as assigned.

Duties & Responsibilities
Provide a wide range of concierge-style support to accommodate the needs of Members.
Welcome and assist Members, Guests, and Staff in a friendly and professional manner.
Monitor and manage access to the Club’s facilities, acting as a key point of entry.
Maintain documentation of all individuals entering the Club for safety and incident response purposes.
Relay Member requests and inquiries to the appropriate staff or departments.
Guide and direct Guests to scheduled meetings, events, and functions.
Provide current information about Club programs, registration, special events, membership, waitlists, etc.
Perform other related duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements & Qualifications
Previous experience in a customer-facing role is considered an asset but not required.
Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
Able to multitask efficiently and perform well under pressure
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Able to work independently and in a team environment
Ideal candidates will be flexible, well spoken, outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic
Must be able to perform the full range of tasks and responsibilities as required by the position.
