About Us
The Velvet Screen is a private theatre and celebration space designed for couples, birthdays, surprises, anniversaries, movie dates, IPL screenings, and special moments. We focus on creating a premium, cozy, and memorable experience for every guest.
Role Overview
We are looking for a friendly, well-spoken, and smart Front Office Executive to manage customer bookings, welcome guests, coordinate setups, and ensure a smooth experience at the venue.
Responsibilities
Handle customer enquiries through Instagram, WhatsApp, and calls
Manage bookings, slot timings, and confirmations
Welcome and guide guests during check-in
Coordinate decoration setups and occasion arrangements
Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the reception and theatre area
Handle payments and basic billing
Assist customers with photo/video requests when needed
Coordinate with vendors and support staff
Maintain polite and professional communication with all customers
Requirements
Good communication skills in Tamil and basic English
Friendly, presentable, and customer-friendly personality
Basic knowledge of Instagram, WhatsApp Business, and Google Sheets
Ability to manage couples, birthday bookings, and surprise events professionally
Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Experience in reception, café, theatre, salon, or hospitality is a plus
Preferred Qualities
Good aesthetic sense for celebrations and décor
Social media knowledge is a bonus
Calm under pressure and good at multitasking
Punctual and responsible
