Receptionist
Job Description
The Lodge Receptionist is responsible for providing a warm welcome to guests, handling reservations, managing check-ins and check-outs, and ensuring smooth front desk operations. The role requires excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle guest inquiries efficiently.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Guest Services:
- Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Handle check-in and check-out processes smoothly.
- Provide information about lodge amenities, local attractions, and travel assistance.
- Address guest concerns and ensure prompt resolution.
• Reservations & Front Desk Operations:
- Maintain accurate records of reservations and guest details.
- Process payments and issue invoices/receipts.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for room availability and special requests.
• Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain daily reports, logs, and documentation.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming.
• Other Duties:
- Assist in promoting lodge services and activities.
- Handle emergency situations and escalate issues when necessary.
• Requirements & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (degree in hospitality is a plus).
- Prior experience as a receptionist, front desk agent, or in hospitality is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel booking software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to ₹15,000.00 per month
