About Edinburgh Camping Park
Located within the leafy Mortonhall Estate, Edinburgh Camping Park is an award-winning caravan and camping destination, recognised with multiple TripAdvisor Certificates of Excellence. We operate year-round, offering touring and camping pitches, holiday homes, camping pods (Wigwams), and shepherd huts. Our park provides a high-quality escape for both short breaks and extended stays.
The Role
We are seeking confident, capable individuals to join our reception team. This is a customer-facing role requiring professionalism, clear communication, and a genuine commitment to service standards.
Shifts operate between 8.00 a.m. and 7.00 p.m., with occasional late finishes up to 9.00 p.m. during peak periods, including the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Peak season is busy, fast-paced, and demanding — you must be comfortable working under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
Welcoming and assisting guests on arrival
Providing local tourist information and guidance
Handling telephone and email enquiries
Using the park’s booking and reservation system (full training provided)
Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional reception area
Carrying out arrival and departure checks across the park
About You
Confident communicator with a professional manner
Reliable, organised, and comfortable dealing with the public
A strong team player who takes pride in delivering high standards
Willing to work flexible hours, including busy peak periods
