Job Duties and Expectations:
Assisting in landlord-tenant court appearances and preparing essential documents, such as rent demands, termination notices, and holdover petitions.
Preparing and filing pleadings in plenary actions for breach of contract/lease/guaranty.
Drafting and reviewing lease modifications, surrender agreements, and other relevant landlord-tenant contracts.
Offering ongoing legal guidance and support to real estate professionals managing diverse asset classes.
Essential Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience practicing landlord-tenant/real estate law.
Experience with landlord-tenant trials is a significant advantage.
New York State bar admission is required.
Juris Doctor degree is necessary.
