Job Description
• Sun rise Infra Engineering Private Limited is hiring for RE Wall / NHAI Quality Engineer:-
Minimum Experience- 3 Years
Qualification- Graduate/B.tech/ Diploma
At least 3 Years experience in RE Wall/NHAI project,
• Only RE Wall/NHAI background
Role Description
This is a Full-Time RE Wall / NHAI Quality Engineer role at Sun rise Infra Engineering Private Limited for RE Wall Projects.
He RE Wall / NHAI Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring all activities related to Reinforced Earth (RE) wall construction and other highway components comply with NHAI/MORTH specifications and quality standards. The role includes monitoring, inspecting, testing, and reporting construction materials and execution methods to ensure adherence to design and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Grid Installation & Quality:
· Ensure proper grid laying/stretching as per approved drawings.
· Verify type, width & length of grid materials used on-site.
· Prevent vehicle movement over freshly laid grids.
· Monitor top grid placement and alignment at each lift.
· Block Handling & Placement:
· Ensure correct cut block usage and corner finishing.
· Maintain alignment, batter, and finish of RE wall.
· Avoid undulations in block layers.
· Monitor block unloading, stocking, and wastage.
· Backfill & Filter Media:
· Check reinforced and retained backfill layers per drawing.
· Validate filter media quality, laying, and cavity filling.
· Monitor bed preparation, compaction, FDT, and bed thickness.
· Joint & Expansion Control:
· Inspect expansion joints for correct placement and quality.
· Material Management:
· Ensure identification marks on grid bundles.
· Supervise proper grid packing and storage.
· Keep track of grid and block wastage.
· Verify availability of other required materials.
· Wall Closure & Finishing:
· Align closing wall near dirt wall and monitor final wall alignment.
· Check for cracks in blocks and overall finish.
Requirements:
· Knowledge of RE wall methodology & material specs.
· Familiar with MORTH, IRC standards.
· Proficient in QA/QC procedures, Excel, and AutoCAD.
· Good communication and reporting skills.
Additional qualifications that. would be beneficial include knowledge of geotechnical, environmental, and structural works, proficiency in relevant software, and experience in project management
