Job Description
Required Qualifications: CS, LLB, LLM
The candidate shall be responsible for ensuring that the organization adheres to all regulatory requirements laid down by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The role involves implementing and overseeing the regulatory compliance framework, managing regulatory filings, and staying updated on RBI circulars and guidelines to ensure timely and accurate compliance.
The officer will collaborate closely with different teams to provide guidance on compliance matters and ensure risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities:
· Regulatory Compliance Management:
- Ensure the organization complies with RBI regulations, circulars, and directives.
- Monitor updates from RBI and assess their impact on the company’s policies and procedures.
- Implement compliance programs that align with RBI standards and guidelines.
- Lead the preparation and submission of statutory filings, reports, and returns as required by RBI/NHB.
- Review internal systems and controls to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
· Policy Implementation & Monitoring:
- Develop, update, and implement compliance policies and procedures in line with RBI guidelines.
- Conduct regular compliance audits to identify potential gaps in adherence to regulations.
- Provide guidance and interpretation of regulatory policies across departments.
· Risk Assessment & Mitigation:
- Identify regulatory risks and assist in the development of risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure that risks related to RBI regulations are minimized.
· Stakeholder Management:
- Assist the CCO with RBI for regulatory inquiries, inspections, and submissions.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulators for compliance reviews and audits.
Desired Skills:
- MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex regulatory requirements.
- Sound understanding of risk management principles in relation to regulatory compliance. -
