Job Description
We are hiring for Quotation & Estimation for Modular Kitchen & Furniture Hardware Industry .
Exp- 1 Years- Upto Max 5 years .
Job Summary
The Quotation & Estimation Executive is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations for modular kitchens, wardrobes, and furniture hardware solutions. The role involves analyzing drawings, specifications, and client requirements to ensure competitive pricing, profitability, and timely submission of proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
Estimation & Costing
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for modular kitchens, furniture, and hardware components (hinges, channels, fittings, accessories, panels, etc.).
• Analyze BOQs, layouts, drawings, and client specifications.
• Calculate material quantities, labor costs, installation charges, and overheads.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in pricing as per company standards.
Quotation Preparation
• Prepare and submit quotations, tenders, and price proposals within deadlines.
• Customize quotations based on client requirements, design changes, and budget constraints.
• Coordinate with sales and design teams for clarifications and revisions.
• Maintain records of all quotations and revisions.
Vendor & Cost Management
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain updated material and hardware prices.
• Compare vendor quotes to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality compliance.
• Monitor price fluctuations in raw materials and hardware fittings.
Coordination & Support
• Work closely with sales, design, production, and installation teams.
• Assist sales teams during client negotiations by providing cost breakups and alternatives.
• Support project teams with cost control and variation estimates.
Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain estimation databases, pricing sheets, and costing templates.
• Prepare cost comparison statements and margin analysis reports.
• Ensure proper documentation for approvals and audits.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of modular kitchen systems, furniture materials, and hardware fittings.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation software (AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage).
• Good numerical, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
