Desired Candidate Profile
We are looking for a QA Tester to assess software quality through manual testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches.In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we’d like to meet you.
Responsibilities
Creating a test plan.
Using the plan to assess functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with other systems.
Using the plan to hunt down and fix software bugs.
Looking for ways to prevent bugs from occurring in the first place.
Guarding against incorrect language usage, truncated text and incorrect formatting.
Ensuring the product is culturally compatible with the target market.
Rebuilding the corrected software application.
Requirements
Should have experience in Manual testing
Must have experience in Defect Tracking Tool like JIRA, Bugzilla.
Must have knowledge of Automation process.
Have a good command on Trello.
Should be hands-on to coordinate with the team / manager
Should be responsible to keep projects on track and take complete ownership of deliverables
White-box/Gray-box testing knowledge is a must.
Should be capable to coordinate with the client on issues / clarifications
Good Communication Skills
Individual team player with high flexibility
Experience in building Test strategy, Test plan and Test case
Knowledge of a broad range of software applications and of hardware and networks.
Strong programming knowledge and software testing concepts.
Ability to think in the abstract and see how small details fit into the bigger picture.
A creative mindset – and the ability to approach a problem creatively.
Good communications skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of IT systems.
