Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to ensure the quality of software products through rigorous testing and process improvements.
The QA Engineer will collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-performance applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases (manual and/or automated).
Identify, record, document, and track bugs using test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
Perform regression, functional, integration, and system testing across various platforms.
Work closely with development and product teams to understand new features and ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Analyze test results and provide feedback to improve product quality.
Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to test automation efforts (if applicable).
Assist in performance and security testing (optional based on role).
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a QA tester, QA engineer, or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with testing web and mobile applications.
Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environments.
ISTQB or other QA certifications (optional but a plus).
