Title: QA Analyst GCA: IC - 4
As a QA Analyst your day your day-to-day job responsibilities will involve:
Creating test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
Documenting software defects, using a Jira bug tracking system, and reporting defects to software developers.
Identifying, analyzing, and documenting problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.
Creating and or improving test plans that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.
Documenting test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards.
Planning test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
Conducting software compatibility tests with programs, hardware, operating systems, or network environments.
Testing system modifications to prepare for implementation.
Monitoring bug resolution efforts
Reviewing software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks.
Providing feedback and recommendations on software usability and functionality.
