QA Analyst New
Remote Full-Time Analysis
IntelliGRC is redefining Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) for modern organizations. We value high quality releases, fast feedback loops, and clear communication across Product, Engineering, and Customer teams. We’re seeking a QA Analyst with at least a year of experience who enjoys digging in to product behavior, finding edge cases, and documenting issues clearly. You’ll spend most of your time doing exploratory and manual testing, validating fixes, and creating useful QA documentation that helps the team ship confidently. This is a great role for someone who is methodical, curious, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with evolving requirements. - Why IntelliGRC? At IntelliGRC, we simplify cybersecurity and compliance with a platform that blends innovation, AI, automation, and deep industry expertise. As a QA Analyst, your success will directly improve product quality and reliability.

We offer generous medical, dental, life and disability insurance; flexible spending; 401(k) matching, ample vacation/leave time, as well as training/skill building opportunities and a great work environment.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required, with equivalent experience.

Experience:
We’re looking for a QA professional with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in manual and exploratory testing for web-based SaaS products. The ideal candidate is comfortable working within a modern web stack, including browsers, responsive UI, role-based access, and multi-tenant environments. You should have a strong ability to create clear, actionable documentation and detailed bug reports, along with a solid understanding of QA fundamentals such as regression, smoke, and risk-based testing, as well as prioritization principles. Experience with common issue tracking and documentation tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, GitHub Issues, TestRail, or Linear is essential. Additionally, basic technical proficiency—such as inspecting network requests, reviewing console logs, and reliably reproducing issues—is required to effectively communicate technical context.

1–2 years of hands-on QA experience (manual/exploratory) on web-based SaaS products.

Unable to work with 3rd party candidates or agencies.
Related Experience:
Experience working in a remote environment.
Experience with GRC, compliance, security tooling, or MSP/MSSP workflows.
Interest in automation long-term.
Experience testing multi-tenant SaaS systems (data separation and access boundaries).
Experience testing B2B workflows (permissions/roles, billing, integrations, audit logs, data exports, admin settings).
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, HIPAA) - not required, but helpful.
API testing familiarity with Postman/Insomnia, and comfort reading API docs.
Experience testing exports/reports, audit logs, and evidence workflows where traceability matters.

Job Duties:
Perform exploratory testing on new features, bug fixes, and regressions across web workflows.
Create and maintain test documentation (test cases/checklists, test charters, test scenarios, etc).
Write high-quality bug reports with clear steps, expected vs. actual results, screenshots/videos, logs, and environmental details.
Execute regression testing for releases and hotfixes; help define “go/no-go” readiness signals.
Validate bug fixes in dev/stage environments and confirm production issues when needed.
Partner closely with Product and Engineering to clarify acceptance criteria and identify risk areas early.
Help improve QA processes: better checklists, reusable test data, clearer severity/priority definitions, and consistent reporting.
Contribute to basic test data setup and environment sanity checks (accounts, roles, permissions, configurations).
