Job Title: Python Tech Lead with Azure and SQL
Location: Remote

Job Description:
Our team is seeking an experienced Python Tech Lead with Azure and SQL to join us. As a member of our team, you would be a self-starter and capable of working independently to high standards of quality. The specific assignment is to work on application enhancement, development of new functionalities and supporting existing application.
The candidate would be a self-starter and capable of working independently to high standards of quality.
A certification in Azure serves as a strong plus.
Requirements:
• Use effective and efficient analytical skills to work with SMEs in understanding user requirements and current processes.
• Develop Python processes to perform ETL/ELT type of work in the Finance space.
• Develop and maintain Python-based applications, focusing on data processing, integration, and analysis, including libraries like NumPy, Pandas.
• Parse files/Tables from Upstream and load into Data Lake/DB.
• Transform and load data from various sources (CSV, JSON, XML, etc.) into different databases (Oracle, MS SQL).
• Handle multiple file formats as source/Sink and take data from Database (DB) or insert into DB
• Handle authentication/authorization when sourcing data (exchange of keys etc.)
• Connect to various data sources and build robust ETL/ELT processes to efficiently handle data extraction, loading and transformation from various sources into or out of the cloud platform
• Provide detailed project, program and system documentation and specifications.
• Collaborate with other technical resources in a diverse environment.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and prior experience working with large datasets in Python.
• Experience with Python data processing libraries, excel and Bloomberg interfacing libraries.
• 6+ years of experience in Python ETL development and dealing with SQL.
• Proficiency in writing ANSI SQL queries.
• Knowledge of Oracle tools and technologies - Oracle 1+c, SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Loader.
• Experience with Agile development methodology.
• Knowledge of Crystal Reports, Business Objects, Tableau or Power BI, Dremio is a plus.
• Proven conceptual, analytical and judgment skills with excellent oral and written communication skills.
