Job Summary
As a Software Engineer III in the Prime Finance Credit team of the Corporate & Investment Banking business at JPMorgan Chase , you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
• Develop core framework, components and UI for Credit SRE Platform. Align development with the Markets SRE strategy.
• Design and Develop Observability instrumentation for various shared in house and external systems.
• Develop Framework to automate various dashboards in Geneos and Grafana.
• Work across entire software development lifecycle - requirements gathering, design implementation, testing, deployment.
• Enhance the team by demonstrating best practice throughout the software development lifecycle: testing, code review, accurate status reporting, focus on application resilience and "operability".
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Experience with any Metrics based system - Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telemetry, APM Tools
• Strong analytical development skills, solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and experience in real-time, high performance and/or SRE/Monitoring areas.
• Creative, quick-thinking, pragmatic, with an aptitude for solving problems with technology and an ability to quickly translate requirements into a sound technical design and implementation.
• Experience with SCM tools: Bitbucket/Git, Continuous integration tools.
• Proven organizational skills, decisive priority management, strong teamwork ethic, excellent verbal & written communication skills.

• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
• Exposure to cloud technologies
