This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a highly organized and motivated individual to oversee procurement activities in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Analyzing food requisitions from ships and inviting quotations from prospective vendors at the given port.
• Reviewing vendor quotations, negotiating terms, and submitting them to the Catering Manager for approval.
• Issuing Purchase Orders to chosen vendors and following up with them for additional prices and supplementary orders.
A graduate degree in any discipline and relevant work experience in hospitality or food purchasing are essential requirements for this role.
