Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchase Intern at the company's Ahmedabad location. The Purchase Intern will assist in managing purchasing processes, creating and tracking purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring timely procurement. The role also involves maintaining accurate purchasing records, analyzing purchasing trends, and contributing to efficiency improvements within the purchasing function.
Qualifications
- In-depth understanding of Purchasing Processes, Purchase Management, and Purchase Orders
- Strong Purchasing and Analytical Skills to evaluate and optimize procurement decisions
- Ability to maintain detailed records and manage supplier relationships effectively
- Proficient in communication, organization, and time management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and familiarity with procurement systems
- Prior experience in purchasing or procurement roles (internship experience is acceptable) is an advantage
- Educational background in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
