Job Description

Summary:
As Proposals and Project Manager you are responsible for proposal preparation work and project execution in both the ports & maritime and industrial markets. Help build Cavotec’s ability as a total system provider by developing detailed project plans, perform risk analysis, cost management and ensuring resource availability and allocation to deliver every project on time within budget and scope.
The Role:
• Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders, internal and external.
• Contract management, assist sales department and identify project risks.
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
• Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Direct engineering resources to ensure technical solution is feasible and proper documentation is produced and approved
• Define and improve standard proposal templates/models for contracts
• Work with Procurement to find the best suppliers with quality and cost in mind
• Create and track financial overview of the project, controlling cost and cashflow in projects.
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
• Perform continuous risk identification and management.
• Coordinate, allocate and ensure availability of internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Requirements:
• Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent background expertise required.
• > 5 experience in project management roles.
• Worked in a global, multicultural environment.
• Experience in maritime industry or off-highway industry is preferred
• Strong attention to detail, facilitation, teamwork, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, both verbal and written
