Job Description
Position: Project Sales Engineer
Location: Kolkata, Guwahati, Hyderabad and Delhi
Qualification: B.Tech in Civil/ Geotechnical Engineering
· Requirements -
1. Having professional experience in Sales & Marketing of Construction Industry in Eastern India.
2. Trust Relationships with structural consultants.
3. Preferred Industry : River infrastructure ; Earth Retaining Systems, Shoring Solutions , Marine Infrastructure , Water Treatment Plants Etc
4. Exposure to Government Departments like Irrigation , Flood Control, Public Works Department, Refineries, Ports Etc.
5. Qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree in civil/ Geotechnical Engineering. MBA will be added advantage.
· Key attributes :
• In-depth knowledge of prevailing design & construction practices especially in shoring industry. Previous experience with Geotech/soil nailing / ground anchors will be an added advantage.
• Techno-commercial acumen to create new opportunities & conclude business with penchant for Sales.
• Ability to create & nurture long term relationships across stakeholders in government & private sectors.
• Receptive to idea and a quick learner with ability to conceptualize innovative solutions & look beyond conventional norms & practices.
• A performance-oriented team player with global outlook.
• Gravity, patience & perseverance with long term horizon
• Self-starter, confidant & multi-linguistic personality with good communication skills.
• Readiness to travel exhaustively.
• To achieve yearly sales targets
· ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for checking on status of payments and liaising with accounts team as well as keep the Management and/or sales manager updated on an on-going basis.
• Responsible for updating the sales database, preparing sales reports as required by the Management and/or sales manager.
• Computer skills: MS Word , MS Power-point are must. Acumen to learn Design software will be preferred.
• Good technical background
• Sound judgment and good business acumen.
• Ability to build relationships with clients quickly.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong personal skills, team player and capable of taking initiative
• Fluent in English, Hindi Language. Bengali/Oriya/ Bihari will be an added advantage
· Experience: 5-10 yrs experience in the same field
· Salary: As per industry standard
