Location – Parramatta
Employment type – Ongoing Full-Time, 35 hours per week
Grade – 7/8
Salary – $113,574 pa - $125,720 pa plus employers’ contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

Your role

Step into a rewarding role as Project Officer – Technical infoShare with the Department of Communities and Justice. Working within the FACSIAR team, you’ll support the delivery and enhancement of a key data platform that underpins vital DCJ programs. You’ll bring together project coordination, technical capability, and analytical thinking to improve systems and drive better outcomes. What you’ll do
Be part of FACSIAR, a high‑performing team delivering data, research and insights that inform key decisions across DCJ. As a member of the infoShare technical team, you will:

Collaborate with program, policy, digital and data stakeholders to support shared outcomes
Support the effective, compliant and consistent use of the infoShare platform
Partner with service providers to improve data quality, integrity and consistency
Contribute to ongoing system and process improvements to enhance usability and performance

You will thrive in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment, contributing to the delivery of meaningful, data‑driven outcomes across a complex organisation.

What we’re looking for

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following skills, experience and capabilities:

Demonstrated experience supporting configurable or low‑code digital systems in an operational environment, including system configuration, administration, onboarding, testing, releases and change activities.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability, with the ability to translate business, program or policy requirements into practical system, data or process solutions.
Experience contributing to data quality, reporting or system improvement initiatives, applying attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
Demonstrated technical analysis capability, including supporting ICT procurement, vendor engagement, technical documentation or assurance activities.
Well‑developed planning and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing demands, exercise sound judgement and deliver outcomes in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, enabling effective collaboration with technical and non‑technical stakeholders across a complex organisation.

Relevant tertiary qualifications (IT, data, digital, business analysis, public policy or related discipline) or equivalent experience are desirable.
