Duties and responsibilities
· Be a leader of the internal project execution team, front-ending the Members/Hub teams converting their requirements into concise actionable project brief and scheduling, working closely with Design Team and Project Team.
· Developing unified processes and timelines to integrate IT, infrastructure, design and sales for a customized space
· Review and advise on constructability and coordination from the beginning of each project, considering both construction and the overall life of each project.
· Advise during pre-construction and support cost estimating and bidding processes.
· Analytically consider critical path decisions and construction methods to maintain schedule, budget, safety, and quality.
· Proactively flag any issues that may arise during a project, take ownership of them, and work together with stakeholders to resolve them
· Communicate regularly to management and the project team with project updates such as the status of each project, upcoming benchmark goals, potential issues, etc.
· Serve as the day-to-day contact for internal and external project team members regarding construction, regularly reporting on construction progress, risks, and schedule/budget exposures.
· Work closely with an internal team to ensure smooth project handovers to building operations teams, while simultaneously overseeing punch-lists and project closeouts
· Managing project progress and adapt work as required
· Ensuring projects meet deadlines
· Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders
· Designing and signing off on contracts
· Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation
· Participating in tender process i.e. design, submission and review
· Designing risk mitigation plan
· Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for executive staff
· Optimizing and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary
· Securing growth opportunities and initiating new projects
Qualifications, Education & Experience
· Bachelors degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management (or relevant/equivalent experience)
· Construction experience working on Residential fit-out, high-end retail, hospitality, or similar projects preferred for 8-10 years.
· Excellent written and verbal skills with prompt follow-up
· Ability to communicate project status concisely
· Experience with construction management/project management software
· Ability to travel as needed (50 - 75% of the time) to projects throughout the designated region.
· Effective utilizing fast track construction methodologies
· Analytical in approach when evaluating construction progress or obstacles and provide solutions to stay on schedule and minimize cost impacts
· Confident with making major decisions
· Experience in on-site risk-assessment
