The Opportunity
KBR is seeking a Project Manager to support tender and bid responses, then help deliver capital works, facilities and infrastructure projects for Commonwealth Government clients, including Defence, and other major clients. This role offers the opportunity to build your experience across bids, design, procurement, contract administration and project delivery.
You will work within multidisciplinary teams to coordinate proposal inputs and documentation, support project reporting and stakeholder engagement, and contribute across a range of facilities and infrastructure engagements. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside KBR’s design services consultancy teams and develop broad experience across both business development and project delivery.
You will work on small to medium projects (typically up to ~$20M), office fitouts, construction packages and components of larger programs. In this role, you will:
Support tender, capture and bid responses, coordinating inputs, methodology content, programs and submission documentation
Plan and coordinate project, contract administration and program support activities in line with internal policies and governance requirements
Coordinate inputs across multidisciplinary internal teams, design services specialists, subcontractors, subconsultants and joint venture partners
Prepare and manage bid, project and contract documentation, including reports, registers, minutes, procurement and approval records
Support project delivery through technical coordination, document control, risk and issue tracking, and approval processes
Assist with procurement activities, subcontractor and supplier coordination, and government and client approval processes
Support day‑to‑day client communication, stakeholder engagement and reporting to maintain high levels of client satisfaction
Contribute to proposal development, including resourcing, schedules, cost inputs, reviews and internal approvals
Build strong working relationships across teams and clients, contributing to positive team culture, continuous improvement and future opportunities
