POSITION OBJECTIVE
LIVE Design Group, is seeking a passionate and experienced architect to join our innovative team of Architects and Interior Designers. In this role, you will collaborate with in-house project teams, engineers, clients, and contractors to ensure seamless project coordination. You will have the opportunity to establish and monitor project schedules while also mentoring the design team. Not only will you have an impact to leverage your design expertise to make an impact on your clients, you will also play a key role in the future growth of the firm. POSITION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaboratively manage in-house project teams, engineers, clients, and contractors to ensure seamless project coordination and success.
• Facilitate and lead team meetings to drive alignment and informed decision-making.
• Oversee project quality control to maintain high standards in both design and execution.
• Establish and monitor project schedules and production budgets, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
• Conduct monthly site visits during construction to review progress, address issues, and maintain client satisfaction.
• Mentor and support the design team, fostering professional growth and encouraging knowledge-sharing within the team.
• Project management across all phases of architectural projects.
• Collaborate within a project team from concept to completion.
• BIM modeling and detailing of architecture and interiors using REVIT software.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other consultants and contractors to ensure cohesive project delivery.
• Lead design and coordination reviews, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.
• Serve as the main point of contact to ensure client's needs and expectations are met.
• Manage construction administration, including site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues.
• Some travel required to project sites and client meetings
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• NCARB certification required.
• Ability to obtain an Alabama (AL) license.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in architecture.
• At least 3 years of project management experience.
• Proficiency in REVIT is required.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks daily and complete tasks with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Motivated self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Compassionate and Empathetic.
• Strong sense of integrity and collaborative team player.
• Focused on enhancing team and project outcomes.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and decisively make decisions.
