About the Role
This is a temporary position to cover a maternity leave.
The Programming and Community Engagement Coordinator supports the success of library programming initiatives by leading their promotion across a variety of platforms and leveraging technology to enhance accessibility, visibility, and community awareness.
Reporting to the Manager of Library Programs and User Experience, this role plays a key part in developing engaging programs, strengthening community connections, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
One Sunday per month
Up to three evenings per month
Responsibilities
General Duties
Stay current with trends in social media and multimedia platforms.
Develop and implement library marketing strategies.
Plan, organize, and deliver a variety of programs and events.
Provide excellent customer service at service points in accordance with library standards.
Respond to patron inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
