The ideal candidate will plan and develop CNC programs for vertical milling machines. The person will review and update manufacturing processes, design fixtures, and troubleshoot issues in a machine shop setting.
Using MasterCAM 2021, develop programs to manufacture parts from customer supplied models. Must be knowledgeable in standard machining principles and inspection techniques for milling.
Must be able to work in a team environment in engineering department and on the machine shop floor.
This job will pay between $35 to $55 per hour. At this time, we can only accept w / 2 candidates and this role is 100% onsite.
Essential Functions :
• Verify 3D solid models match customer drawings.
• Update routings defining the manufacturing process for parts.
• Design and program fixtures for the manufacture of parts.
• Support and work with manufacturing supervisors and quality to resolve technical issues
Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements :
• MasterCAM 3-axis programming experience
• Knowledge of CNC machining practices and inspection techniques
• Experience with an ERP system is preferred
• Self-starter who can work independently and hit the ground running
• Must be proficient in MasterCAM 2021.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office
• Must be able to clearly present ideas and reports in written and verbal format
• Must be familiar to read a micrometer, caliper, and other machine shop measuring tools
• Must be able to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities
• Must be able to work well with subordinates, peers and superiors in all departments of the company
• Must be able to work well with external contacts
• Must have good time management, organization, and planning skills
• Must have good interpersonal and communication skills for working in a team environment
• Strive to complete all projects and tasks safely, accurately and in a timely manner
• Must adhere to all company policies
• Individual must be a Citizen of the United States, or Permanent resident alien of the United States, or Protected individual as defined by 8 U.
