Based at National Office in Wellington, the Programme Enrolment Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the effective delivery of rehabilitation programmes across the prison estate. This is a fixed-term position through until 30 June 2027.
This position provides national coordination of programme enrolments identified through offender plans and event-based reviews, ensuring timely access to interventions that support rehabilitation and reduce reoffending. The role works closely with case managers and site-based staff to coordinate scheduling, maintain programme lists, and improve consistency in processes nationwide.
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate scheduling information within IOMS, supporting data integrity, and providing advice on best practice coordination processes and system improvements. This includes contributing to a more nationally consistent approach to programme scheduling and supporting ongoing improvements in service delivery.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Proven experience in administration or coordination roles, with strong organisational skills
Ability to plan, prioritise and manage multiple workstreams to meet deadlines
High attention to detail and a commitment to quality and accuracy
Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to work across a range of stakeholders
Experience handling confidential and sensitive information with integrity
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems
Sound judgement and problem-solving ability, with a focus on continuous improvement
An understanding of, and commitment to, working in a culturally responsive way, is essential.

The salary range is $67,658 - $95,517 pro rata. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
