Role Description The Professional Makeup Artist will provide makeup services for clients across occasions such as weddings, parties, corporate events, and creative shoots. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with clients to understand their requirements, preparing and sanitizing tools and products, delivering tailored makeup applications, and coordinating looks with hair styling when needed. The role involves maintaining product inventory, staying updated on beauty trends and techniques, and supporting a welcoming studio atmosphere in Ahmedabad. This is a full-time, on-site role that requires close collaboration with other team members and consistent, high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications
• Professional makeup artistry and cosmetology skills, with a strong understanding of skin types, color theory, and product application techniques.
• Hair Styling skills to create complementary looks for various events and client requirements.
• Customer Service skills to provide a positive client experience, manage consultations, and handle feedback professionally.
• Sales skills to recommend suitable products and services, support upselling, and contribute to studio revenue.
• Training skills to guide junior staff or assist in workshops, demos, and client education on makeup and skincare routines.
• Attention to hygiene and safety standards, including proper sanitization of tools and adherence to health guidelines.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and event-based schedules.
• Prior experience as a makeup artist in a salon, studio, or freelance setting; certification in makeup or cosmetology is an advantage.
