Job Overview:
Natural Farmworks is looking for a dedicated Production Worker to join our tea processing team. This role is vital for ensuring the seamless production of our high-quality tea products, from harvesting the raw greens to packaging the final product. As a Production Worker, you will be directly involved in the hands-on processes that maintain the authenticity and quality of our tea.

Duties:

Assist in the harvesting, drying, and processing of tea leaves according to our traditional methods.
Operate machinery involved in the drying, blending, and packaging processes.
Monitor equipment to ensure it operates efficiently and report any malfunctions.
Perform quality control checks to ensure our products meet the required standards.
Pack finished products and prepare them for shipping.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following standard health and safety guidelines.
Collaborate with the production team to meet production targets and efficiency goals.
Participate in inventory counts and help manage supplies and raw materials.
Assist with routine maintenance and cleaning of production equipment.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; further training or certification in production or related fields is a plus.
Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment an asset but not required-preferably in the food or agricultural sector.
Ability to operate or learn to operate various types of machinery safely and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Physical stamina and strength to handle manual labor tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
Good teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.
Flexibility to work in various parts of the production line as needed.
Must live locally as the job requires on-site presence with no accommodations available.
Legal eligibility to work in Canada.

Pay: $17.40-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
