Are you someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in doing things properly, and loves the aroma of fresh spices and teas? We’re a small but passionate business producing premium organic spice blends, teas and oils — and we’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented person to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce spice mixes, teas and oils by following recipes, manufacturing process and food safety guidelines
Accurately weigh, label and pack products for retail and wholesale
Pick and pack online orders with care
Clean and sanitise the production machinery and equipment after each production run
Maintain a clean and organised production and warehouse area
Receive the supplies and put away deliveries
Monitor stock levels and update inventory systems
Supervise trainees, if required.
What We’re Looking For:
Comfortable working with spices, teas and PPE
Comfortable in small, hands-on production environment
Basic English and maths skills
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 20kg, and do general warehouse tasks
Good time management and flexibility to switch between tasks
At least 1 year of experience in food production
Understanding of basic food handling
A valid ABN
