Production Trainer (Lamination)
Job Description
Required Qualifications:
10 + years of lamination or manufacturing training experience
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Strong computer skills with the ability to use digital tools for documentation, communication, and training support
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Leadership experience preferred
Knowledge of skin, bulk, finish, and bracing processes
Strong knowledge of all lamination materials and proper application
Knowledge of lamination equipment set-up, calibration, and use
Knowledge of Lamination Quality Standards & Best Practices
Must possess strong teaching, coaching, and development skills
Ability to hold others accountable while treating all team members with respect
Must show high levels of patience, possess a welcoming personality, and be able to build trust with new team members
Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Must be flexible and show the ability to multi-task, and remain organized
Must be able to adapt to changing requirements in a positive and proactive way
Ability to interact professionally and effectively with all levels within the organization
Must be flexible to work extended hours to support the requirements of the business.
Willingness to obtain formal composites & lamination training
Working Conditions:
Must always possess the desire and ambition to work safely and report all hazards to their Supervisor immediately
Must understand basic terminology such as OSHA, DEP, and other regulatory agencies
Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment where designated, including but not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.
Must be able to physically handle the requirements of the job, including lifting, bending, climbing stairs, standing, etc., with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to understand all safety related document and worksite rules and practices, equipment operating instructions, documented safety management systems, and health and safety requirements, including the General Safety Rules and Individual Safety Commitment.
The pay range for this position is $25.90 to $28.43, hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
