Qualifications
Must be able to learn to read precision measuring instruments
Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints, specification sheets, and/or mechanical drawings and in precision measurement and become proficient through training
High School Education or GED
Must score Silver level or higher on Work Keys test
Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds at 225 pieces per hour
Must be able to stand and walk on concrete plant floor for extended periods of time (up to 12-hour shifts)
Benefits
Starting pay is $1+ per hour and goes up to $30.00 per hour plus night shift premium

JOB SUMMARY
The Production Technician meets daily production needs in manufacturing quality parts at Pontotoc Spring. Starting pay is $1+ per hour and goes up to $30.00 per hour plus night shift premium.
REPORTING TO
Production Supervisor
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Work safely in a team environment
• Meet daily production needs in manufacturing quality parts
• Must be able to read and learn to interpret specification sheets and mechanical drawings
• Must be able to learn to read precision measuring instruments
• Set-up/Troubleshoot equipment
• Assist other shifts or areas as needed
• Keep work area clean
SKILLS and ABILITIES
• Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints, specification sheets, and/or mechanical drawings and in precision measurement and become proficient through training.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
