Process Overview Chief Finance Office (CFO) – Business Finance Office (BFO) is a critical function under the Enterprise Risk and Finance Application Production services (ERF APS). The function supports many key applications used for Global banking and Markets Finance, Global technology Finance teams. Part of a global team based in India, London, Dallas and New Jersey, whose primary focus will be on providing front line support for Business Finance Applications related to Profit and Loss, Balance sheet reporting, Front to Back-office reconciliation, Trial Balance reporting platforms for all the Global teams. Carry out daily health-check activities involving application batch, system and database checks related to production systems / servers. Patching & Release support: Post Patching validations, Job on hold and off hold to support releases. Month End, Quarter End, Year End Support Provide On-call support. Incident Triage, assist / work on root cause analysis and ideas in Incident prevention for future. Ensure adherence to incident and change management processes Drive process improvements and innovation. Interpret business requirements into design solutions. Understand the design and development of the project lifecycle Creation and maintenance of system, functional and reference documentation. Conduct analysis and recommend bug fixes for production incidents Regular engagement with Business & Systems Teams looking to adopt and apply the best practice of Application Service Support. Manage multiple applications, mitigating risk and complexity. Work proactively to manage application inventory. Support compliance & risk for applications, work on Audit findings and remediation plan Identify, Escalate and Debate on the potential risk items related to Applications Ability to apply a logical approach to problem solving High sense of urgency with ability to drive results. Support and Assist Application and related Infrastructure patching, Resiliency (ARC/ DR) test actions and validations. Understanding and resolving of the functional queries from Business users, technical partners. Responsibilities Individual contributor role to perform varied functions within Application Support team.
Good experience and exposure to the understanding the Application/Batch Monitoring, Feed monitoring and fixing the repetitive failure. Need to ensure the overall stability of the application and optimizing the complex application batch Hands-on experience in large Data environment specifically in L2/L3 support environment End User Service Request: Associate should be able to work on the service requests from the users. Enrich applications run book – SLA, Job Failures – track fixes, work with CIO, TI Partners on issues and remediation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Manage multiple applications, mitigating risk and complexity Work proactively to manage application inventory Support compliance & risk for applications, work on Audit findings and remediation plan Identify, Escalate and Debate on the potential risk items related to Applications Work with senior management and stakeholders to identify problems, suggest solution and implement improvements. Requirements
• Education: B. Tech, B. E
• Certifications If Any: ITIL
• Experience Range: 5 to 8 years
• Foundational skills: Working knowledge of Unix Shell Scripting, Oracle PL/SQL, MSSQL, Python, Geneos ITRS Monitoring tools, Autosys.
• Desired skills: Working knowledge of Kafka, Splunk, Business / Functional knowledge of Global Markets, Trade Lifecycle, Accounting and Ledger.
