Duties
Develop and maintain accurate production schedules using ERP systems such as Plex and other manufacturing management tools, aligning with demand forecasts and inventory levels.
Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, and assemblies.
Analyze Excel data and supply chain metrics to identify bottlenecks, forecast material needs, and optimize inventory levels through MRP (Material Requirements Planning) processes.
Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to improve process efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance quality control across production lines.
Monitor production progress daily, adjusting plans proactively to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining safety standards.
Lead cross-functional communication efforts to resolve material shortages or delays swiftly, ensuring minimal impact on manufacturing schedules.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing supply chain analytics data and recommending process improvements that enhance overall plant performance.
Experience
Proven experience in production planning or manufacturing management within a fast-paced industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or equivalent enterprise resource planning software; experience with MRP is essential.
Demonstrated ability to analyze data using Microsoft Excel for forecasting, inventory analysis, and process optimization.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques, Six Sigma practices, and process improvement strategies.
Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to foster cross-functional collaboration across supply chain, operations, quality control, and plant management teams.
Mechanical knowledge or background in assembly processes is advantageous for understanding production workflows.
Prior experience in supply chain management or logistics coordination within a manufacturing setting is highly desirable.
