Roles and Responsibilities

Prior experience of working in a textile / garment / apparel / export house is mandatory
Must have an experience to handle the overall operations for textile and / or garment plant in a manufacturing unit preferably export house
Proactive production planning to ensure smooth allocation and flow of work and coordination within departments
Proactive resource planning (material, man, machine) to ensure SLAs are adhered to without delay and quality issues
Optimum utilization of available of resources to ensure cost optimization and saving
Establish and implement quality assurance and control processes and standards as per the industry best practices
Provide insights to management on basis of analysis of the production reports, records and data
Implement industrial best practices as 5S, Kaizen, etc to improve the productivity
Create systems and SOPs to reduce variance from existing standards and create new standards
Maintain work flow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points; monitoring personnel and resources; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
Complete ownership of Production to ensure delivery of quality output within define timeline by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems
Required Candidate profile:

Experience: 10 -15 years
Must be from Garment manufacturing industry or Export house
Preferably a mechanical engineer or textile engineer b.Tech (desirable)
Experience of working and reporting on MS Word and PPT is desirable
Must have individually handled a team
