### Job Description: Production Management Control (PMC) Manager
• Position Title: Production Management Control (PMC) Manager
• Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Production Management Control (PMC) Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of production planning, control, and management within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a team to ensure production targets are met efficiently and effectively.
• Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop and implement comprehensive production plans and schedules to meet customer demands and production targets.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment of production schedules with sales forecasts and inventory levels.
2. Production Control:
- Monitor and control production processes to ensure they adhere to established plans and schedules.
- Identify and address any deviations or issues in the production process to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
3. Resource Management:
- Manage the allocation of resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to optimize production efficiency.
- Ensure the availability of necessary resources to meet production demands.
4. Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the production of high-quality products.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions.
5. Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.
- Utilize lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
6. Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production supervisors and staff.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
7. Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production output, resource utilization, and quality metrics.
- Prepare and present regular reports on production performance to senior management.
8. Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, control, and management processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus
