We are are actively hiring for a Production Line Worker to join a hugely busy company based in the outskirts of Colchester, who produce a food based product. This role requires no factory experience just a keen attitude to work.

This role is assist with the running of a fast moving production line within the Packhouse, with focus on Quality Control, minimal stoppages and hold ups.
This is a temporary to permanent role, so only applicants looking for a permanent role need apply.
Applicants should be aware there is no public transport links, so you will need your own transport.
Duties of the Production Line Worker will include;
Working on various parts of the production line- from loading, to checking, to packing
Inspection and grading of raw material on lines
Taking responsibility and ownership of hygiene and housekeeping at all times
Ensuring you are compliant with legal and company food hygiene standards
Final packing and stacking of product
Undertaking any reasonable tasks requested by management
The ideal Production Line Worker;
Previous experience in a FMCG or manufacturing and production environment
Able to work weekends and weekdays to working hours
Flexible approach to working duties
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good eye for quality
Able to work overtime
Be local to ColchesterOwn transport is required due to location
Hours and pay
Working a 4 on 4 off day shift (7am-6pm)- applicants should be aware this does include weekends
£12.02per hour
Overtime available at an enhanced rate
On site parking
