What You Get to Do Responsible for preparing, seasoning, finishing, and garnishing all food in kitchen preparation in accordance with established recipes
Follow all recipes and production specifications
Knowledge and execution of menus
Assist in all areas of food production as needed
Responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary area at all times in full accordance with state health regulations
Participate as a team member with Supervisors, Chefs, Cooks, FOH and all other pertinent Associates in ensuring an efficiently run operation
Knows and follows all safety and security regulations in accordance with Grand Casino’s policy and procedures
Must be able to execute and prioritize multiple orders with efficiency, quality and adhere to food safety practices
Perform other assigned duties related to this role, contributing to the overall success of the department
Collaborates across boundaries to achieve common goals
Aligns organizational objectives and practices with Mille Lacs Band traditions or interests as appropriate
Sets direction and influences others to translate vision into action
Demonstrates drive for continued personal and professional growth
Begin work on time for their scheduled shifts, schedule PTO in advance and exhibits flexibility in scheduling or supporting other Associates by assuming shifts from other team members or Department demands
Accomplishes required work within expected guidelines
Flexibility to work in various roles and outlets
