Production Coordinator(Fashion)
Job Description
We’re a Montreal-based product design company creating premium novelty products in the apparel and gift industry. We’re a collaborative team looking for a detail-oriented Production Coordinator to support our growing Operations team.
THE ROLE
The Production Coordinator reports to the Operations Director and is responsible for coordinating day-to-day production, sourcing, and logistics activities to ensure projects move smoothly from development through shipment.
This role also provides operational support across the Sales and Design teams to ensure smooth cross-functional collaboration.
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Follow up with vendors on production status, samples, approvals, inspections, quality, and deliveries.
Track production schedules, shipments, shipping documents, and inventory to ensure on-time execution.
Coordinate sales samples, salesman samples, initial package development, and customer sample requests.
Create and maintain SKUs, UPCs, product master data, packing instructions, and production documentation.
Coordinate with Sales, Design, Warehouse, Logistics, vendors, and freight forwarders to support daily operations.
Assist the Operations Director with planning, sourcing, process improvement, and special projects.
Maintain reports, trackers, and operational records.
EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
1+ year of experience in Production, Supply Chain, or a related role within the fashion industry.
Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication skills and positive attitude.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Experience with ERP systems is an asset.
English required; French and/or Mandarin is an asset.
