Job Description
Position: Production assistant + plant maintenance
Start date: When we find the right candidate.

Hours: 8.30am - 4.30pm. 40hr/week minimum. Occasionally in the evenings and weekends (mostly for events and tradeshows).
Incentive: Great environment and great atmosphere.
Salary: $1+/hour + extra pay for plant maintenance (regular pay increases, potentially up to $23)
ByNature brings natural green walls to the indoor space and is currently recruiting in its production studio. We are one of Canada's leading biophilic companies, paving the way for a greener future for everyone! Work consists of manufacturing preserved moss and plant panels by hand and with the help of some production tools. Must be able to work with your hands, have an eye for detail, be efficient, have good common sense, follow best standards of safety and be able to improvise and adapt to last minute requests.
You will also be taking care of some plant maintenance contracts.
Experience in some kind of landscaping or horticulture or knowledge/experience with indoor plant care and integrated pest management job is MANDATORY.
Please note that you will be also working with a team of 5-6 other production assistants and supervisors – you will need to be respectful, professional, hard working and someone who likes to work in a collaborative team environment.
The position will commence immediately at 40hrs per week - Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Our office and workshop is located at 20 Ashwarren road, North York. Staff events, training and tools will be provided. Must be available to work immediately.
