Job Summary The Production & Quality Engineer will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring product quality, improving manufacturing efficiency, and maintaining quality standards in cutting tool manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and control daily production activities to achieve production targets.
• Conduct in-process and final quality inspections using measuring instruments.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Identify and resolve production and quality issues through root cause analysis.
• Maintain production and quality records, inspection reports, and documentation.
• Implement 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Preparation of Production Reports Daily/ weekly / Monthly
• Handling quality related problems of production lines and taking corrective action
• Handling & Rectification of Machine problems on production lines
• ERP management
Qualification
• Diploma OR ITI in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience
• 1 to 5 years of experience in cutting tool, CNC machining, or precision manufacturing industry.
Skills Required
• Knowledge of production and quality processes.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments.
• Understanding of engineering drawings and quality standards.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
