Job Description

Citi’s Treasury and Trade Solutions business is a market leading offering covering +0+ countries and providing ICG clients a full suite of products ranging from Cash Management, Liquidity, Trade and Commercial Cards.

The is a senior role and is a part of Citi’s TTS business in India as the head of Trade Sales for one of our largest trade markets globally. This role covers the full breadth of clients, from Large Local Corporates, MultiNational clients, Financial Institutions and our Small & Medium Enterprises. Leading a team of 6 people, the Trade Sales Head is responsible for growing certain focus products like Structured Trade, Priority Sector Lending as well as acquisitions of New Trade Clients.

For this, this team will liaise closely with the senior coverage teams and Solution Sales teams as well as work closely within Citi’s Global and Regional Trade teams.

A deep understanding of clients business, financials, trade structures and underlying risks is key to be successful in this role. Experience in engaging with CFO’s, Treasurers, ability to lead teams and work with Diverse stakeholders from Risk to Banking and Global, Regional teams is a critical skills.

The Trade Sales head will also be setting the strategy for the team through identification of trends, thematic opportunities. Ability to solution a client problem within the broad product boundaries will all be key responsibilities.

This role will have dual reporting- to the Trade Head of South Asia and to the Regional trade Sales head for Asia.


Qualifications:

15+ years of experience, including 8-10+ years' managerial experience
Proven track record in cross cultural and matrix business settings.
Formulation and implementation of business strategy across all corporate customer segments.

Education:

Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred and managerial experience
