About the Role:
As a Product Engineer – Space Systems, you will bridge the gap between engineering, product strategy, and business development, contributing to the design, validation, and lifecycle management of cutting-edge space systems.
Working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams, product managers, and customer stakeholders, you'll help transform complex technical requirements into high-performance, market-ready space solutions. Roles & Responsibilities:
• Drive the technical development and lifecycle management of satellite systems, subsystems, and payloads from concept through qualification and delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, product management, and business development teams to translate customer requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Define product specifications, system requirements, interface definitions, and engineering trade-offs aligned with customer and mission objectives.
• Develop high-quality technical documentation, including Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), design descriptions, qualification reports, technical proposals, and test procedures.
• Support product integration, validation, qualification, and acceptance testing to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with mission requirements.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during manufacturing, integration, testing, and deployment while driving timely resolution.
• Identify opportunities to improve product performance, optimize costs, and enhance engineering processes throughout the product lifecycle.
• Partner with project managers and engineering leads to deliver projects on schedule while maintaining technical excellence.
• Provide technical expertise during customer engagements, proposal development, solution presentations, and pre-sales discussions.
• Create compelling technical proposals, white papers, business cases, presentations, and bid documentation to support strategic business growth.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, market trends, and competitor offerings to influence product strategy and roadmap decisions.
• Support pricing strategies, proposal submissions, and customer negotiations with strong technical insights.
• Represent Azista Space Systems at industry conferences, customer meetings, exhibitions, and technical forums to strengthen strategic partnerships.
• Ensure seamless transition of customer programs from business development to engineering execution while maintaining alignment with customer expectations.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
• MBA or business-focused certification is an advantage.
Experience
• 1–3 years of experience in Product Engineering, Systems Engineering, Product Management, Sales Engineering, or Technical Business Development within the Space, Aerospace, Defence, Satellite, or High-Tech Engineering industries.
Technical Skills
• Strong understanding of Satellite Systems, Satellite Buses, Payloads, and Space Mission Lifecycle.
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles and product development methodologies.
• Experience with Satellite Mission Planning, System Architecture, and Design Trade-off Analysis.
• Familiarity with Spaceborne Equipment, System Integration, Qualification Testing, and Technical Validation.
• Understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and engineering documentation processes.
• Exposure to Satellite Communications, RF Systems, Remote Sensing, or Earth Observation technologies is highly desirable.
• Experience supporting customer proposals, RFP responses, technical presentations, and solution demonstrations.

• Familiarity with proposal management, strategic partnerships, and technical marketing.
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate complex engineering concepts to both technical and business audiences.
