Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Head of Product Design with expertise in luxury interior product design to lead the creative and strategic vision for our luxury product lines. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of materials, finishes, ergonomics, and trends in high-end interior products, ensuring that Della remains at the forefront of luxury design.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Innovation
• Define and execute a design strategy aligned with Della’s luxury brand positioning.
• Research global design trends, materials, and finishes to innovate new product lines.
• Develop collections that blend aesthetics, functionality, and craftsmanship.
Design & Development
• Lead the conceptualization, prototyping, and finalization of luxury interior products.
• Work closely with artisans, manufacturers, and vendors to ensure flawless execution.
• Ensure materials and production techniques reflect Della’s high-quality standards.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
• Manage and mentor a team of product designers, engineers, and craftsmen.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and retail teams to ensure product-market fit.
• Liaise with architects, interior designers, and luxury clients for bespoke creations.
Quality & Sustainability
• Maintain superior craftsmanship and detailing in all interior products.
• Incorporate sustainable practices in material sourcing and production.
• Ensure ergonomics, durability, and user experience are prioritized in design.
Job Expectations:
Skiils:
• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture design, and manufacturing processes.
• Proven track record in high-end furniture, home décor, or lifestyle product design.
• Expertise in 3D modeling, CAD software, and prototyping.
• Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Passion for luxury design, craftsmanship, and innovation.
Minimum Qualification:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Furniture Design, or a related field from a reputed institution.
Minimum Job Experience:
10+ years of experience in luxury interior product design.
