Product Analyst / Product Executive (Private Bank Experience Required)
Position: Product Analyst / Product Executive Department: Product / Business Banking / Liabilities / Lending (as applicable)
Location: Mumbai
Preferred Background: Private Sector Bank
About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic Product Analyst / Product Executive from a private bank with strong experience in product support, scorecard preparation, MIS reporting, and business analysis. The ideal candidate should be highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data interpretation, with handson experience in supporting product managers and business leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Product Management Support
Support endtoend product performance tracking and enhancements.
Assist in preparing BRDs, process notes, and product documents.
Coordinate with crossfunctional teams Sales, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Technology.
Conduct product benchmarking, competitor analysis, and identify improvement opportunities.
Scorecard & Analytics
Prepare monthly / quarterly scorecards for business performance review.
Analyze business trends, productivity ratios, portfolio performance, and customer metrics.
Create dashboards for leadership (MIS, KPIs, conversions, funnel analysis).
Provide datadriven insights to support decisionmaking.
Reporting & MIS Management
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS for product performance.
Ensure accurate, timely, and standardized reporting across teams.
Work closely with BI/Analytics teams for automation and data validation.
Presentation & Communication
Create high-quality PowerPoint presentations for leadership reviews.
Convert complex datasets into clear, visual storyboards.
Draft communication materials for product updates and business discussions.
Process & Governance
Maintain updated documentation, SOPs, processes, and trackers.
Support audit requirements, compliance checks, and regulatory reporting.
Monitor process adherence and suggest improvements for efficiency.
Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills
Advanced MS Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data modeling).
Excellent MS PowerPoint skills (dashboards, visual storytelling).
Strong analytical thinking and data interpretation.
Basic understanding of banking processes and products (Liabilities / Lending / Payments / Wealth).
Soft Skills
Strong communication and presentation abilities.
Detailoriented with problemsolving mindset.
Ability to work with crossfunctional teams.
High ownership, accuracy, and speed in execution.
Educational Qualification
Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, Banking, or Management.
Preference for candidates currently working in a private bank.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Currently working in a private bank in Product, MIS, Business Analytics, or Product Support roles.
Strong in preparing scorecards, dashboards, performance trackers.
Excellent with presentations and data analysis.
Comfortable working in a fastpaced, datadriven environment.
