Job Description for Process Lead
• B Tech / B.E. /BS / MS -Chemical Engineering with 12 to 20 years of experience pertaining to FMCG / Chemicals related industry.
• Interface with project execution team, Offshore team, equipment vendors, construction contractors to ensure successful project implementation.
• Protect the client interests by ensuring that the technical and build contractors are adhering to the project specification.
• Candidate should have exposure for the projects executed in North America region
• Professional Engineer (PE) certified candidate
• Coordinate design reviews and approval of detailed design documents.
• Review of engineering documents developed by design build contractors to ensure that the plant is designed and built in accordance with technical specification, operational and safety aspects, reliability and ease of maintenance and sound engineering practices.
• Perform Process engineering calculations such as Mass & Energy balances, process / utility piping hydraulic calculations etc.
• Development of PFD and P&ID's
• Perform calculations related to process equipment sizing & selection
• Preparation of specification datasheets of FMCG process equipment, utility systems.
• Preparation of process operation sequence logic and interlocks systems for FMCG plant.
• Technical evaluation of vendor quotes for process equipment and other utility/process package items.
• Interface with project execution team ( India ) on process engineering communication & support.
• Progress monitoring & status reporting
• Good communication skill
• Experience for Process and Utilities requirement working within agreed schedule and maintaining quality of deliverable
• Ensure quality by adherence to company’s quality document and regular check of work done by juniors
• Process work-flow and interdisciplinary co-ordination
• Exposure in multidisciplinary working environment
• Process Deliverables for Conceptual, FEED and EPCM projects – Brownfield and greenfield
• Experience in engineering consultancy for Process deliverables of FMCG and Pharma projects in an EPCM environment.
• Ensure quality by adherence to company‘s quality document and regular soft & hard copy check.
• Knowledge of all kinds of process engineering deliverables like H&MB, PFDs, P&IDs, Line List, Equipment List, Hydraulic calculation, PSV sizing, software simulation
