Job Description
Tasks
The key responsibilities and duties of the Process Engineer Surface Technologies include:
Develop, configure, and optimise plating shop processes from design to steady-state monitoring.
Create and maintain process standards, documentation, FMEAs, and technical risk assessments.
Define quality metrics, analyse data for trends, and support root cause investigations.
Identify and deliver tooling requirements, working with internal/external partners to ensure quality and throughput.
Ensure compliance with OEM standards, REACH, and COSHH requirements.
Support daily operations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Investigate new methods, processes, and layouts to boost flexibility, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with OEMs and engineering teams for approvals and process enhancements.
