Job Description
Role Definition:
Provides the technical expertise necessary to design, develop, and implement manufacturing engineering and complex manufacturing operations. This position functions as a specialist in the following major areas: planning, manufacturing processes, costs and quality.
Nature of Job:
• Identify and implement enhancements and modifications to complex manufacturing processes.
• Engineering support on planning, development, operation, and processes.
Work Experience
Qualification and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing Processes
Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of existing product manufacturing methods, technologies and processes; ability to execute, plan, manage and monitor the entire manufacturing process.
• Develops best practices documentation for all major activities and tasks.
• Trains others on all major tasks and considerations for the full manufacturing process.
• Participates in measuring and monitoring new processes and technologies.
• Selects and optimizes specific methodologies for specific products.
Top Candidates Have:
• Fabrication/Assembly Line Experience
• Creation of Process Documents such as PFMEA, SFMEA, Standard Works (SOPs), Control Plan.
• Manufacturing Process Planning using Teamcenter Vismockup, Siemens Global Teamcenter (GTcMfg), Siemens Virtual Process Planning for Assembly (VPPA)
• Virtual Validation using Teamcenter Vismockup Jack option and Creo Manikin Option
• Understanding of Welding Process
• Weld Creation in Creo
